The oscilloscope is an instrument with which electrical voltages varying in time can be displayed. With the oscilloscope time dependent electrical signals can be examined easily.
Key specifications for the oscilloscope are:
Special developed controls make controlling the oscilloscope very easy and intuitive.
If the the offset setting of a vertical axis needs to be changed, simply grab the axis and drag it to the required position.
If the gain setting has to be altered, grab one of the inverted ends of the axis and drag it to the preferred position, thereby expanding or shrinking the vertical axis.
Pressing the right mouse button over the vertical axis will bring up a popup menu in which all properties of the corresponding channel can be changed.
The oscilloscope is equipped with an advanced record view scroll bar. The width of the scroll bar represents the total record, the width of the slider represents the visible part of the record. To change the record view gain, grab one of the edges of the slider and drag it either to the left or the right and watch the signal change corresponding to the slider width. To change the record view offset, grab the slider itself and drag it to the preferred position.
An AUTO DISK function is available with which unexpected disturbances can be captured. When the instrument is set up for the disturbance, the AUTO DISK function can be started. Each time the disturbance occurs, it is measured and the measured data is stored on disk. When pre samples are selected, both samples before and after the moment of disturbance are stored.
